I have four Buff Orphington chicks that I’ve (miraculously) been able to keep alive since I got them! I guess I’m a better chicken farmer than gardener. They’re not cute and fuzzy anymore, but they’re growing out of that awkward, ugly phase. Thank goodness! They’re going to make some nice looking hens!
74/365 – I’m Back!
Well, I’m finally back in the blogging world, after a nasty run-in with Mr. Influenza! My camera hasn’t seen the light of day from last Monday until today! Fortunately, I am feeling much better, and hope to get back on track with my blog. My husband came in this morning, and told me we had a new baby (foal), so naturally, I grabbed my camera, and out I went. I took tons of shots of the new baby without stopping once to look at my camera screen display. (You may know where I’m going with this at this point.) When we got done petting and snapping pictures of the baby, I went back in, put my camera down, and went about my morning. A little while later, hubby comes back in and tells me he found something else I might want to take pictures of, so I grab my camera again. This time, it’s a big snail crawling across the ground. I turn on the view screen, so I can get in nice and close (didn’t want to lay on the wet ground) and the screen is flashing “NO CARD IN CAMERA!” Uggghh! So, to make a long story short, I still do not have any pictures of the baby horse, but I did get some pretty neat shots of the snail! I’ll try again tomorrow!
